Flood Precast Concrete Manufacturers in partnership with KIER Construction to delivery 11 New Fire Stations to be completed for Staffordshire on behalf of the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Having completed similar projects for Kier Construction on their Gloucester Fire and Rescue Authority contracts last year, Flood Precast were first choice for the precast concrete package, with our sales and design teams working closely with the Kier team to help them with this and previous successful tenders.
With the contract now nearing construction stage Flood Precast are currently on the first site preparing the installation paperwork. First of the 11 stations to be constructed is at Chase Terrace.
With the following stations to be built in the up coming years.
- Longton
- Kinver
- Rugeley
- Stone
- Codsall
- Loggerheads
- Penkridge
- Leek
- Burton
- Lichfield
As with all similar projects, coordination is key with facilitating the tight construction site, adjacent homes and a live fire station. First to go in is the main station with the adjacent training building following in the new near after the old station is demolished.
Flood Precast will design, manufacturing and install a combination of: Super Wideslab®, 150mm Hollowcore Flooring Slab and all Precast Concrete Stairs.
