Award Winning Construction Project for Extension to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.

Flood Precast worked alongside Clancy Construction on the award winning construction project on the Hybrid Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Orthopaedic Theatre Our Lady’s Children Hospital Crumlin.

Clancy Construction were awarded Construction Project of the Year at the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2016 and we’re also shortlisted as finalists for the BIM Initiative of the Year at the Irish Building and Design Awards 2016.

The BIM Initiative Award is an award for companies that have pioneered new ways of working in a BIM enabled environment to make project design, delivery and operation more effective.

Flood Precast is working toward becoming a recognised user of BIM resources in the precast concrete sector. Currently using BIM technologies within our sales, design and transport team within Flood Precast we focuses on eliminating waste from processes and aims to represent value to the customer.

The hospital construction development consists of a three-storey extension to the hybrid cardiac catheterisation laboratory providing a new Orthopaedic Theatre and support rooms at first floor, suspended over an existing car park, ground floor plant room and new roof-top plant room, all measuring 413 m2, with associated site works and adjustments to car park.
