Precast Stair Edge protection and Precast Concrete Slabs

Flood Precast provided Precast Stairs provided with cast in sockets for precast stair edge protection with Type A finish (Scratched Finish) and 3,000m2 of Flood Super Wideslab® to the Hornsea onshore power stations in Lincolnshire in the UK.

This offshore power station is part of the Hornsea Project One which will be located 120km off the Yorkshire coast in an area covering approximately 407km2. The Project has a capacity of 1.2 GW. This means that each year it will provide enough power for over 800,000 homes.

Flood Precast staircases conform to all current regulations and can accommodate most architectural layouts. Design and manufacture is carried out in accordance with BS 8110: 1997.
Flood Precast can also provide Type ‘B’ finish (Floated Finish) which is a higher class of finish to the precast stairs if specified by the architect or required for the overall design of the building. Landings can be cast integral with the stair flights or separate in order to achieve the optimum staircase construction.
