BIM resources used in Sutton Point design.
Flood Precast has been using BIM resources in our design department to work with our customers in streamlining the design process. Using these resources makes the sharing of project information easy and more effective in the construction industry as sharing is made easy and more effective. As a result, the chances of error and wastage during construction are can be significantly reduced.
Redevelopment of the site involves the conversion and extension of the existing South Point tower up to 22 storeys in height, installation of an 11 storey building and a 20 storey building incorporating a link to South Point.
Sutton Point is a high-profile development directly adjacent to Sutton Station. A large scale mixed-use scheme, Sutton Point includes the full demolition of an existing tower and the design and construction of 332 new residential units, a 59 bed apart-hotel, an 80 bed hotel, and almost 4,500m2 of office and commercial space.
