Precast Stairs BS8110 Type B finish we’re designed, manufactured and supplied to the West End Extension at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. Flood Precast is an expert in all things concrete and offers an exceptional range of precast concrete products. Flood Precast provided 36 Precast Stairs with Fire Ratings of One Hour Fire Protection as standard to BS8110 type B finish for this project.

Flood Precast staircases conform to all current regulations and can accommodate most architectural layouts. Design and manufacture is carried out in accordance with BS 8110: 1997.
These stairs we’re giving a Type ‘B’ finish. Landings can be cast integral with the stair flights or separate in order to achieve the optimum staircase construction.

The precast concrete stair & landing manufacturing facility at Flood Precast allows flexibility, as each individual precast unit can be manufactured to any width, rise & going in accordance with the Technical Building Regulations, using our fully adjustable moulds. Each unit can have the landings attached or left separate, as required.

Flood Precast we’re delighted to be working in partnership with John Sisk and Sons providing our precast staircores for this project. This project will be the second big extension of Liffey Valley in recent years after the so-called ‘West End Development’. That €26m development, which is due for completion later this year, is barely half the size of the latest plan for the centre.

This extension expands in the retail, leisure and community facilities that Liffey Valley Shopping Centre offers.

Part of this new development includes six new restaurants, upgrades to the existing VUE Cinema and more than 3,300 sq/m of civic space will also take residence in the new 10,500sq/m three-story building.
