Flood Precast designs, manufactures and installs precast concrete terrace units for stadia and cinema/auditorium projects. We provided 66no Terrace units for the auditorium facility at the new visitor centre in Uxbridge.

Precast concrete is suitable for terrace units and banked seating systems. Flood Precast provide a high quality finish in both dimensional tolerances and colour.

Terrace Units are cast off-site and stored ready for installation direct on to the superstructure. Installation is rapid and not weather dependent, and allows for the immediate installation of seating and other trades. Our design team worked closely with the project design team to ensure the most practical and cost effective design of terrace units were manufactured. This working relationship has provided our clients with significant savings both in costs and construction site time

The new RAF visitor’s centre, at the Group II Fighter Command Bunker, an important WWII heritage site in Uxbridge, is now nearing completion. The new facility is focused around a Hurricane and a Spitfire and will commemorate events of the Battle of Britain which to a large extent were coordinated from this bunker. The new building is located within woodland close to the historic bunker. The concept design form embraces the dynamics of flight and seeks to place the two fighter plane exhibits within a space where the imagination can soar. Visitors will have a vista onto the suspended planes from the moment they enter the building. The facility also includes an auditorium and a visitors’ refreshments area
