Multi-story buildings made with precast concrete elements

Flood Precast worked in conjunction with Flynn & O’Flaherty on providing the precast concrete elements on the new apartment buildings at Phoenix Park Racecourse.

Large amounts of high-quality buildings can be built in a very short space of time with precast concrete flooring and precast stairs. Unlike poured concrete floors, prestressed concrete floor slabs offer a great deal more flexibility for contractors, engineers and building designers.

Often offering great levels of sound insulation, our prestressed concrete floor slabs are designed with the ease of installation in mind. This not only makes them easy to fit in with other elements of the building, for instance, stairwells and columns but helps to reduce the overall cost of a project.

At Flood Precast, we allow site work to continue, even when the weather is not at its most helpful for concrete. This is largely due to the precast flooring sections which can be made well away from the site and delivered to meet the particular schedule of the construction site.
