Precast offsite solution for Harrow Multi-Storey Car Park development

Flood Precast we’re delighted to be appointed as sub-contractor to Kier Construction to provided precast offsite solution of precast concrete slabs and stairs the redevelopment of Harrow Multi-storey car park.

The main structure of the building was designed as steel frame, with prestressed slabs at the depth of 75 mm with a layer of 100 mm concrete overlay was used. At level 3, the thickness of the slabs was increased locally to 100 mm due to the thicker concrete overlay. We also designed and supplied 6no precast stairs for this project.

More often these MSCP are built in highly populated areas so precast presents our clients with a quick, safe and effective alternative to in-situ or steel, offsite manufacturing reduces workforce on site and overall programme. Harrow MSCP worked to just-in-time delivery schedule which ensured fast and efficient installation.
