Renewable energy
All the electricity we use is certified as 78% renewable. We have commencement the installation of solar panels on two of production units which will be completed in Q1 2026.This initiative will reduce both our carbon impact and our operational costs.
GGBS
Discover the sustainable advantage of our precast concrete solutions enhanced with Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS). By replacing a significant portion of traditional cement with GGBS—a by-product of the steel industry—we deliver precast elements that are not only exceptionally durable and high-performing but also dramatically lower in carbon footprint.
Our approach ensures precise quality control, reduced waste, and faster installation on site, while GGBS contributes to a reduction in CO₂ emissions associated with cement production. Together, these innovations allow us to offer precast concrete solutions that can achieve over 50% carbon reduction compared to conventional mixes. With strength, durability, and sustainability built in from the factory, our GGBS-enhanced precast concrete is the smart choice for environmentally responsible, high-performance construction projects.
Material use
We are working towards obtaining Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for eight products in our standard range—standardised documents that detail a product’s environmental and health impact, designed to inform and communicate with stakeholders about the product’s footprint—with the first EPD expected by 2025 and the full suite completed the same year; in parallel, we harvest rainwater from the roof of our production facility for use in concrete manufacturing and recycle all waste timber and steel generated during production.
Measuring Carbon
We have been successful completed a companywide carbon footprint project.We now have a baseline organisational carbon footprint.

Tree Planting
Trees act as natural carbon sinks, absorbing carbon dioxide and helping to combat climate change. To date, we have established over 80 acres of native woodland—around 80,000 trees—which absorb approximately between 800-1000 tonnes of CO2 annually. In partnership with the charity Free Trees Ireland, we guarantee the planting of an additional 1,000 trees each year which absorb approximately 63 tonnes of CO2 annually. Beyond reducing our carbon footprint, these woodlands enhance air quality, support biodiversity, and provide habitats for wildlife, creating healthier and more sustainable ecosystems
