Strong working relationship forged during Wingfield Primary School Project.

Flood Precast have built a strong working relationship with Harrington Builders and we’re delighted again to work on this project with them. We provided precast concrete stairs for new wingfield primary school in London, the new school building commenced in July 2016 and is due for completion in August 2017.

Flood Precast provided 12no Stair cores, where the half landings we’re cast in-situ on site so we provided the main stair flights for this project. These stair flights are supported on relieving angles bolted/anchored to the supported landings.

Wingfield Primary School is opening seven years earlier than planned. This development is part of the major Kidbrooke Village regeneration scheme, Berkeley Homes is working in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to provide the site for the new school, which will see modern classrooms and upgraded facilities six years earlier than initially planned. This will allow the school to significantly increase its provision of school places, moving to three-form entry.

Precast stairs can be placed along with concrete flooring giving immediate safe access to upper floors quickly and efficiently. All precast stair and landing units are designed in accordance with BS8110.
