Flood Precast we’re appointed to design, manufacture and supply prestressed hollowcore flooring and precast stairs for new Symantec Building in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. The main contractor on the project is Hegarty Demolition who then nominated StructureTone to co-ordinate the precast elements of the build.

The precast floor types that were supplied for this project we’re the following:

• 2160m2 of 400mm Deep Prestressed Hollowcore Flooring
• 2160m2 of 300mm Deep Prestressed Hollowcore Flooring
• 4No. Precast Concrete Stairs

Delivery and Installation of this project was completed in September 2015. There was a tight build programme with all departments working together to get our products designed and manufactured on time.

Flood Precast Transport department engaged with external haulage firms, who along with own fleet lorries co-ordinated the challenge of transporting these large units of 400mm Deep Hollowcore Planks to site on time.
