The STEAM Dyson Building is a new Centre of Excellence for the study of Physics, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics at the Gresham School in Holt, Norfolk, UK.
Flood Precast designed, manufactured, and supplied 3090m2 of prefabricated reinforced wideslab and east and west stair cores.
The aboveground structure of the building consists of a steel structure and a prefabricated slab with concrete topping at level 1 and on the roof. On both levels, hollow-core slabs with a height of 250 mm and solid compressed slabs with a height of 100 mm were used. Concrete overlay was used only in the area of solid prestressed slabs, up to the top of the hollow-core slabs. All plates are visible from the bottom.
