Precast Stairs with Class B finish provided for BD Medical.

Flood Precast designed, manufactured, supplied and installed precast concrete stairs and landings for this project. These precast stairs and landing we’re provided with High quality finish with Class B finish.

This project consisted of an extension to the existing medical process facility located on Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. The client BD Medical Corporate have adopted the LEED sustainable assessment method to validate the holistic sustainable approach to their building designs. The extension consisted of two stories measuring 2,848m2 and is designed to facilitate the existing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the American version of the sustainable assessment procedure and is quickly becoming the benchmark for all sustainable assessment rating systems.

Developed by the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) it includes a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, homes, and communities, that aims to help building owners and operators be environmentally responsible and use resources efficiently.
