Construction work on Mullingar Primary Care Centre started in July 2015 and will be completed in Q3 2016.

As precast concrete suppliers we were involved in the design, supply and installation of Flood Super Wideslab, Hollowcore and Precast Stairs. We worked closely with Glenbeigh Construction on the design of the flooring and stairs.

Due to design issues at the start of this project our design department worked closely with the engineering team on this project to provide the best product which was precasthollowcore for part of the development due to the fact that part of the floor spans we’re over 8 metres.

This new build will be one of the largest Primary Care Centres in the Country comprising 5,000 square meters and approx. 120 car spaces.

This Primary Care Centre in terms of size will be in the top five in the country. It is estimates that 50 new “long-term jobs” will be created when building is complete and the centre is open.

Occupants will include The HSE, Tusla (The Child Protection Agency), two local GP practices, a pharmacy, a Diagnostic Centre and a coffee dock.

In addition to its standard Primary Care Centre services of Community Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Homecare Assistance, The HSE will also provide a Mental Health Clinic and Day Hospital, a Dental Unit and a Registration service.
